In an idyllic setting on the shores of Lake Lucerne, not far from the legendary Rütli meadow, Parkhotel Vitznau is a perfect symbol of their motto: ‘When elegance meets excellence’. Six impressive stars!

MICHELIN awarded three stars to the hotel itself, two for restaurant “focus” and one for restaurant “PRISMA”. In addition, the hotel was named “Gault Millaut Hotel of the Year 2014” and is member of the “Leading hotels of the world”.

Award winning restaurant PRISMA impresses every guest with its 180° panoramic view glass pavilion and a unique and year round view of the lake and mountains of Central Switzerland.

The MICHELIN inspectors write about “Prisma”: “A classic cuisine is served, which is influenced by various regions of the world.

UNDERSTATED – EXCITING – TASTY-Casual fine dining’ is PRISMA’s motto, the menu starts with a few headlines such as ‘ENJOYMENT- FEELING, CONTRAST-HARMONY, vision-Contemporary, FINE-casual , SIMPLE-fascinating, Personally-EXCITING, REGION-energy, SPONTANEOUS-Spring.’

However, we happily leave the recommendations up to the star awarded chef and sommelier.

Christian Seitz, Neuschwansteiner CEO and founder said: “Looking at the beautiful pictures, remembering the serenity of The ‘Park Hotel Vitznau’ already makes you feel better, calmed down and starting to relax. The views of the hotel from the outside, the panorama especially from PRISMA’s terrace, as well as the glass pavilion are just outright fabulous! We feel honoured that our beer is being served there and hope many of their guests enjoy our chilled Neuschwansteiner!”

Patrick Hoffmann, F&B Manager Park Hotel Vitznau said: “Just like last year, during the summer months our guests can enjoy Neuschwansteiner beer on our lake terrace. Local and international guests very much like the stylish bottle design, especially in our silver champagne cooler, but since it has not been a rain-free summer so far, we accommodate the weather and recommend to enjoy this elegant and sparkling beer in our MICHELIN star restaurant PRISMA.”
