Our friends and partners from Käfer are hosting a series of lovely events called Käfer “Genuss-Abend, which translates into “Enjoyable Evening”.

The event’s motto is “competent culinary delight”. Each evening has its own theme and matching this theme, Käfers kitchen crew create a several-course menu. It goes without saying that the corresponding drinks are hand selected and perfectly matched. Käfer’s gourmet experts explain interesting regional and seasonal specialities and stories behind the products of the evening which makes each of these evening events an exciting peak into kitchens, cellars and manufacturers.

Last night’s Käfer “Genuss-Abend” was not only sold out but also proved to be an appealing and fantastic evening at Käfer’s Bistro. In a stylish setting, perfect indulgence was celebrated and our Neuschwansteiner beer shone as aperitif, much appreciated by all guests. The theme of the evening was ‘dahoam is dahoam’, Bavarian for ‘home is home’, an homage to the Heimat Bayern’, ‘Homeland Bavaria’.

Kafer-cc2Everything served came from the regional, Bavarian homeland: The Käfer-Team spoiled the guests with a Bavarian menu of meat specialities from butchery Faber. Inside information was presented by a spokesperson from wine estate Hünersdroff from Franken, the distillery Ziegler from Freudenberg and our Neuschwansteiner Brewery.

Our very own brew master, Andy Helmer, presented our beer and revealed some, but of course not all of our brewing secrets, bringing some of the incredible spirit from famous Neuschwansteiner castle right to Käfer Bistro, in the heart of Bavaria’s capital, Munich.

We thank Käfer for their lovely comments: ‘Great beer with fantastic aroma, homage to the castle:’.
