The third edition of THE EPICURE starts today and all of us at Neuschwansteiner are thrilled to be presenting partner of this incredible culinary highlight of the year!

Heiko Nieder, Managing Director Mark Jacob and Director of Food & Beverage Markus Granelli are looking forward to welcome 13 renowned Michelin-star chefs during five days at The Dolder Grand.

the-epicure-2016-dolder-grand-neuschwansteiner-michelin-star-chefsOver the course of four evenings, guests in The Restaurant will enjoy an exclusive 8-course dinner; Tonight THE EPICURE starts with Heiko Nieder teaming up with one of the most famous German MICHELIN star chefs, Harald Wohlfahrt, who has maintained three Michelin stars for 23 years with his restaurant Schwarzwaldstube at Hotel Traube Tonbach in Baiersbronn-Tonbach. Today as well as for each of THE EPICURE’s 8-course dinner evenings of Heiko Nieder with Curtus Duffy (today), on Friday with Andreas Caminada, and Saturday with Pascal Barbot, Heiko Nieder and each of his 3-MICHELIN-star awarded guest chef, will ensure guests will truly feel like in ‘culinary heaven on earth’.

THE EPICURE is a meeting point for top international chefs, all of whom have made a name for themselves through their innovation and pioneering creativity.

On Friday and Saturday afternoon, Masterclasses will be held, showcasing a world of culinary delights; and at the grand finale on Sunday, you can watch the masters at the cooking stations as they conjure up their creations, and sample the delicacies together with the perfect accompanying wines.

Experience bar culture and entertainment at its finest during THE EPICURE. Indulge in “feminine” (Eve) and “masculine” (Adam) cocktails mixed by Diageo brand ambassador Andy Walch, Before Dinner Cocktail world champion in 2015 and winner of the Swiss Cocktail Championship two years in a row, and Sarah Leuenberger of the Dolder Grand, named Barkeeper of the Year 2014 at the Swiss Bar Awards. These two award-winning bartenders will create five unexpected cocktails using premium spirits.

Who is ahead – Adam or Eve?

Choose your favourite cocktail and win an evening in the Saltz restaurant. The event will be accompanied by live music (Wednesday, Thursday) and a DJ (Friday, Saturday). The bar team looks forward to welcoming you.
