Neuschwansteiner is proud to support and partner the Festive Opera Gala, November 5 2016 in Berlin.
The exclusive and famous event is and awareness and Fundraiser for the “Deutsche AIDS-Stiftung” (German AIDS Foundation). The gala is renowned as one of the most important Charity Events in Germany for its top-of-the-range artistic orientation and the high amounts of donations.
Highlight of this year’s Gala event is the ceremony for the “World Without AIDS AWARDS” for Haute Couture Designer Jean Paul Gaultier and businessman Strive Masiyiwa from Simbabwe.
“As every year, we have the honour to welcome stars who are at home at some of the world’s leading Operas. This is admirable and exemplary!” said Dr. Alard von Rohr excitedly. Together with Alfred Weiss, Dr. von Rohr initiated the Gals and until today holds the artistic direction. “With Patrizia Ciofi, Edwin Crossley-Mercer, Lise Davidsen, Teresa Lervolino, Elisabeth Kulman, Gregory Kunde, Aleksandra Kurzak, Levy Sekgapan, Simone Piazzola and Michael Spyres top stars of the international opera from France, Denmark, Italy, Austria, Poland and the US participate in our gala, and we are of course also extremely proud of the raised amount of at least half a million Euro to benefit HIV/AIDS affected persons”, Alfred Weiss explained happily.
Funds raised at this year’s gala will be used for various helping projects, in Germany and abroad. The gala is presented by AUDI AG, with support of its premium partners MAC Cosmetics and the association of Prive health insurances (PKV). With their support, all partners underline their social responsibility for people with HIV and AIDS as well as their cultural and their social commitment.
The evening is presented and hosted by Max Raabe. Following the award ceremony and the concert, popstar Álvaro Soler will impress with a Live-performance. Afterwards, Michi Beck of “Fantastische Vier” will be in charge of rocking the dance floor.
The culinary highlight is catered for by star chef and catering expert Markus Herbicht.
