It seems people around the globe love beer so much, that they have created several “Beer-Days”.

The USA have created their “International Beer Day” to be celebrated every first Friday in August. We hove you all enjoyed it! It was created 2007 in California to “enjoy the taste of beer with friends” and “celebrate those responsible for brewing and serving beer”.

The Neuschwansteiner Edelmärzen beer from Bavaria in Germany

In Germany “Beer Day” it is April 23rd – the celebration of the initiation of the German Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot) for beer, dated back to 1516. Next year there should be great celebrations for the 500-year anniversary!

We suggest for 2016 to not have a “Beer-Day” but be a “Beer-Year!

Did you know that since 2003 several breweries in south Germany have been brewing a special beer on the German beer day, called “annual beer 23.04” which is only released into sales after 120 days (end of August), limited to approx. 6000 litres per brewery, every bottle has a serial number.

Well, for us at Neuschwansteiner every day is an enjoyable beer-day, but of course it is up to you to make it a special beer day for yourself, an anniversary, holiday, special reception or something of to your own choice.

Make it even more special with Neuschwansteiner – now you can order world-wide from our online shops: BOS FOOD & Feinkost Käfer.

Please let us know if you like your preferred online beer dealer to list Neuschwansteiner…
