Neuschwansteiner partners renew their star awards 

GUIDE MICHELIN just released new 2017 SWISS edition of the famous red book!

As of today the new MICHELIN Guide SWITZERLAND 2017 is for sale. The MICHELIN Guide clearly is recognized as THE gourmet bible world-wide.


With 117 star awarded restaurants, Switzerland actually has the highest per head number of stars in Europe! This also means that within five years, Switzerland has improved by 20%.

The Guide MICHELIN Switzerland recommends 954 restaurants and 545 hotels in all price categories. Three restaurants were awarded with the prestigious 3-star-award, 19 with two stars (3 new) and 95 with one star (12 new).

Michael Ellis, international director of Guide MICHELIN said: “Switzerland is one of the most diversified culinary regions in Europe. The selection of our independent and anonymous MICHELIN Inspectors for 2017 confirms the very high level and incredible varieties of the gastronomy between Geneva and St.Gallen, Basel and Lugano!”
