As we enter the final weeks of this year, we thought to give the artistic community of Berlin a little treat and gathered for ‘Drinks and Art’ in Berlin at Better Payment Germany at Hackescher Markt.
And a treat it surely was – Drinks and Art is a new format created by our partner, award-winning artist Albrecht Behmel, who invited his friends, collectors and colleagues to a vernissage with some of his latest works – superheroes, citiyskapes and self-portraits that naturally go beautifully with Neuschwansteiner beer.
Innovators and entrepreneurs, Björn Bähre of Better payment Germany, Dominik Matyka, Constantin Hertel and artists like Christian Awe and Tiago Azevedo who was born on the Azores islands but lives in Munich support Albrecht’s network that also welcomes film makers, models and international actors, politicians like Maren Jasper-Winter, journalists, writers, medical specialists and prominent venture capitalists.
Albrecht said with his charming broad smile: “It is always the mix that makes a party – and we are happy and proud to be part of it.”
As Christian Seitz, Neuschwansteiner founder and CEO put it: “It is like from one European capital to another: After our Paris debut at Albrecht’s vernissage at the Louvre, we enjoyed yet another great event with him in Berlin. H.R.H. King Ludwig II. would have loved this! He was a visionary back in his days and he would be one today, as well. This is why we welcome and support new formats like Drinks and Art. Our beer and Albrecht’s art are a perfect match.”
We simply love new ways to make contemporary art work and to enjoy.
Albrecht Behmel, born 1971, is an award-winning writer and painter. His paintings are on display at the University of Bejing, the Brandenburg Parliament in Potsdam, the Empire State Building, Guggenheim Partners, Miami and others.
Drinks and Art is going to appear in Hamburg, Stuttgart and Munich next year.
