ARTEXPO April 21-24 with Albrecht Behmel

We just celebrated our Manila debut in the Philippines with our friend, award-winning international artist Albrecht Behmel at the charity opening of ‘Acts of kindness’. Always active and excited about new projects and destinations, we are already setting off to a new continent to star at another fabulous location.

We are very excited to join Albrecht at his next vernissage and exhibition at the famous Artexpo in Manhattan at Pier 94, ‚The Art Pier‘, also referred to as the ‘unconventional convention center’.

Each year thousands of art industry insiders flock to Artexpo New York in search of the art and artists that will shape trends in galleries worldwide, with over 400+ innovative exhibiting artists, galleries and publishers from across the globe, showcasing exciting original artwork, prints, paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, giclee, lithographs, glass works and more — all under one roof at Pier 94.

neuschwansteiner-in-manhattan-artexpo-april-with-albrecht-behmel-03Hosting more than 25,000 avid art enthusiasts annually and bringing the biggest publishers, galleries and collectors face to face with hundreds of established and emerging artists, Artexpo is the largest international gathering of qualified trade buyers—including gallery owners and managers, art dealers, interior designers, architects, corporate art buyers and art & framing retailers.

For thirty-nine years and counting, Artexpo has developed into the world’s largest fine art marketplace.

This weekend, our friend Albrecht is going to show pieces of his Old Master Series which re-interprets famous works of art from the Renaissance to Early Modernity in his unique style, The Magic of the Swarms.

These paintings are all about movements and colours, joy of life and love. Most works of the series, like ‘Dancing with Matisse’, are somehow connected to New York, as pieces of permanent exhibitions for example.

We love his art and these pieces are just fabulous!

Neuschwansteiner is especially excited to be part of this show because we are going to host a private event for Albrecht and some selected guests at Kurt Gutenbrunner’s iconic restaurant Blaue Gans. It doesn’t get much better than this: Germany’s finest cooking, brewing and painting reunited in Manhattan. We will keep you posted.

Albrecht Behmel, born 1971, is an award-winning writer and painter. His paintings are on display at the University of Beijing, the Brandenburg Parliament in Potsdam, the Empire State Building, Guggenheim Partners, Miami and others.

Watch this space as we will continue to bring exciting news about Albrecht and his world-wide art exhibitions!
