Recently, we celebrated our Paris debut in style at the perfect place: the world famous Louvre! Neuschwansteiner was served at the amazing vernissage of our Artist friend Albrecht Behmel during a show with more than 600 artists under the inverted pyramid of the famous Carrousel du Louvre.

We loved the location so much, that we are excited to show you some more Neuschwansteiner at Louvre pictures today curtesy of Albrecht. We took our Neuschwansteiner bottle outside the exhibition upstairs where it became a piece of art itself in these great pictures of the iconic Parisian monument, the Louvre Pyramid. It is entrance to the Louvre Lobby and was designed to handle the thousands of daily visitors to the Louvre.
With almost 10 million visitors a year, the Louvre is the most visited museum of the world!
As a matter of fact, we wish The Louvre a Happy Birthday! November 8 it turned 223 years old! The Central Museum of Arts opened in 1793.
The outside Pyramid structure, famous also from the movie ‘The Da Vinci Code’, was designed by architect I.M.Pei in 1984 and is 21.6 metres (71ft) high and is surrounded by three smaller Pyramids and spectacular fountains. It is entirely made of glass with thin metal rims to be as transparent as possible. The additional inverted Pyramid (‘Pyramide Inversée’) is a smaller version of the Louvre Pyramid and sits downstairs upside down atop a small stone pyramid in the underground shopping mall.
Albrecht Behmel proudly said: “German beer in the capital of France, imagine this. The visitors loved the beautiful bottles with the golden neck. We ran out of glasses faster than we could watch and made a lot of new friends.“
