Congratulations to German F1™-Force India driver Niko Hülkenberg for winning his first 24hrs of Le Mans!
Well done!
Hülkenberg, shared the number 19 works Porsche with New Zealand’s Earl Bamber and Briton Nick Tandy, they finished ahead of the number 17 Porsche, driven by Ex F1™ driver, Australian Mark Webber, New Zealand’s Brendon Hartley and Germany’s Timo Bernhard.
I’m speechless right now, to be honest
said 27-year-old Hulkenberg, the first active F1™ driver to win since Britain’s Johnny Herbert in 1991.
These are Niko Hülkenbergs pictures he took in 2013 and 2014 as his donation to our charity partner ZOOM. We are already excited to see if he might donate a Le Mans selfie this year?

We also send massive congratulations to our fellow “Allgäuer”, Daniel Abt. Together with his Rebellion team and teammates Dominik Kraihamer (A) and Alexandre Imperatori (CH), Daniel won the LMP1-privateers class.

Coming from nearby Neuschwanstein castle in Bavaria’s Allgäu region, Daniel is almost like a neighbour and we follow his racing career through GP2 and Formula E.
Fingers crossed for Daniel and his German ABT-team for the Formula E season’s final this coming weekend in London!
