Aboard superyacht with My Yacht Group in Monaco
With no doubt, we enjoyed a very special week in Monaco during the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2016 and are still busy receiving happy comments from guests and partners.
Our compliments and congratulations go to our friend Nicholas Frankl and his My Yacht Group!
When he told us during the Monaco Yacht Show about his high-end hospitality during the Grand Prix™, our expectations were high, and we can truly say, he did live up to them! Distinguished guests, gourmet food, top-class entertainment and a perfect spot to enjoy the nightlife as well as on-track action!
And he confirmed to us: His guests aboard enjoyed our royal luxury Neuschwansteiner beer.
The Monaco Grand Prix, recognized as one of the most iconic social and sporting pageants in the world, and now in its 74th year, saw My Yacht™ Monaco returning to the Principality to celebrate its 11th annual outing with an exclusive charity superyacht reception benefitting longtime charitable partner, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.
HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco Aboard
The intimate evening was once again honored by the presence of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, along with a delegation of distinguished guests.
Other notable attendees included easyGroup founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, Hollywood actor and artist Billy Zane,
NASCAR Champion Brian Vickers, Supermax founder Rocky Malhotra, former NBA player Jon Koncak, Rohullah Habibi of “Million Dollar Listing”, socialite and author Lady Victoria Hervey, model and actress Victoria Silvstedt, Olympians, Gold Medalists, and more.
An on board silent auction saw HSH Prince Albert II add his signature to two art works: “Excentric”, a large format photograph on aluminum by fine art photographer Johan Vandenberghe, depicting Peter Sellers’ (“The Pink Panther” series) Ferrari 500 Superfast, and “The Genie of Monaco”, a one-off sculpture of steel lacquered in Monaco colors by contemporary Monegasque artist Patrick Gibelli. 100% of proceeds from the auction benefitted the PA2F.
The international soiree was the sophisticated beginning to a weekend of luxury hospitality and thrilling F1™ race viewing aboard the 40m tri-deck superyacht M/Y Lady in Blue, moored in a coveted trackside berth on Quay Kennedy.
High-performance Van Dutch tenders sped guests to and from the yacht daily, while a professional crew & staff ensured the highest level of service throughout as the cars raced past.
Heavy rain made for an exciting race day with reigning World Champion Lewis Hamilton taking the checkered flag in his Mercedes AMG Petronas after a pit stop snafu robbed Red Bull Racing’s Daniel Ricciardo of first place, while Sergio Perez celebrated 3rd place and a first ever podium finish for Sahara Force India.
As the racing ended, the sun came out, the harbor was filled with yachts sounding their horns, and the post-race celebrations began. A fitting end to an extraordinary weekend at “the race that every driver wants to win.”
Nicholas Frankl said: “Our My Yacht Monaco guests will never forget sharing a Neuschwansteiner and discussing Formula One™ with His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco on the bow of Lady in Blue during our 11th annual Grand Prix charity party benefitting Prince Albert 2 foundation.”
Christian Seitz Founder and CEO of Neuschwansteiner said: “The FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE MONACO aboard Lady in Blue with Nicholas and his My Yacht Group was just fabulous.
The appearance of H.S.H. Albert II of Monaco clearly was a highlight! Unfortunately, our brand Ambassador H.R.H. Prince Leopold of Bavaria was unable to come to Monaco.
I’m sure, he would have enjoyed a visit aboard, especially for the charity reception. During the gala dinner for the Annual World Stars Football Match last year, he toasted with our Neuschwansteiner with H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.”
My Yacht Group will debut an exclusive superyacht reception at San Francisco Fleet Week, October 8th, & returns to Art Basel Miami Beach for a 6th year in early December. Its My Yacht Club at the USA F1 Grand Prix returns to Austin for a 5th year, October 21-22. MyYachtGroup.com
