„Winter-white star-cuisine“ is the title for a really nice article by MICHELIN Restaurants about star-awarded restaurants in the Allgäu-region of southern Bavaria, not too far away from our beautiful Neuschwanstein castle. The article hails Oberstdorf, the most southern town of Germany as a perfect location to combine a winter vacation with culinary highlights.
The article features two of our restaurant partners, Kilian Stuba and Maximilians.

111 metres above sea level, our partner, Sascha Kemmerer and his “Kilian Stuba” have received the prestigious MICHELIN star. The “Kilian Stuba” is located in “Kleinwalsertal”, an Austrian enclave, which is why it is listed in the German Guide. Kemmerer holds a MICHELIN star as well as 17 points and 3 Gault Millau „Hauben”. „Maitre-Sommelier“ Lars Kirchbach recommends a chilled Neuschwansteiner along „Jack’s Creek Wagyu Sirloin with Mangogel, Shimeji mushrooms and Dashisud”. Every six weeks the menu changes. During winter season, Kemmerer serves another signature dish, his fabulous creation: “Meat ravioli”:
Thinly Wagyu filet of beef carpaccio, filled with cauliflower-mousse, topped with hot chive-sauce.
The MICHELIN Restaurant article also features the most southern German star-restaurant, “Maximilans Restaurant”. Here, in the Romantikhotel “Freiberg”, since six years, Tobias Eisele follows his motto: “Our guests shall enjoy life and laugh!” this fits for the star-restaurant “Maximilians” as well as the newly opened “Fetzwerk”.

We are proud that our partners are featured in this lovely article and congratulate them.
