Brewed in the deep south of Bavaria, Germany’s southernmost state, the royal Edelmärzen Neuschwansteiner manages to even reach all the way up north near the Arctic Circle for the opening of Iglootel 2015.
The icy-polar environment seems the perfect surrounding for this exclusive beer, made from the finest and purest ingredients. ‘From ice it comes, in ice it shall be enjoyed.’ The refinement process ensures top-notch quality in three steps: Neuschwansteiner’s water is purified and filtered through the rocky strata of the Alps, then pressed through an amber filter and finished by the legendary ice freezing process, driving the alcohol content up to 6% and giving the beer its zesty, yet mild flavour.
The Iglootel in Swedish-Lappland is a unique luxury experience. Built only from ice and snow in Arjeplog you can even drink your Neuschwansteiner out of ice glasses at the ice bar – very stylish!
And if you want to warm up before your ice cold Neuschwansteiner that’s easy – just use one of the outdoor hot tubs or the sauna.
