Time Out Hong Kong features a very nice interview with Neuschwansteiner-brand Ambassador H.R.H. Prince Leopold of Bavaria, written by Lisa Cam.

His Royal Highness, a direct descendant of the Bavarian Kings, explains the secret behind our exquisite taste and the 6% VOL. alcohol level: “First, the water is naturally purified through the rocky strata of the Alps. Then the beer goes through a unique process where it’s pressed through an amber filter during the brewing process. Then there’s, an ice freezing finishing, which drives the alcohol content up to six percent, and gives Neuschwansteiner its renowned flavour, zest and strength.”

Together with the Prince we are hoping that Hong Kong beer drinkers will receive a positive impression of the beer and his and our home country:

“They will think about Bavaria, as this beer gives a little bit of Bavaria back to you.”

Nice interview, Lisa Cam!

Neuschwansteiner is available at Fook Lam Moon (Hong Kong), Fook Lam Moon (Kowloon), Guo Fu Lou and Fukiji and is set to pop up at some of Hong Kong’s most exclusive restaurants and bars at some stage this year, too, so watch this space.
