The snow is melting, yet the majestic mountains still have white caps but in the valleys and around beautiful Neuschwanstein castle, the spring flowers blossom, everything starts to get green and the sun is warm enough to sit outside and enjoy a fresh Neuschwansteiner on the terrace.

We love this time of the year when everything comes back to live and you start seeing flowers of all colours everywhere

This is also a perfect time for a visit and tour of King Ludwig II’s magnificent castle. The tour is always impressive and a ‘must’ if you plan a trip to Germany. Right now it is also not yet high season and a bit more relaxed. A hike up to the ‘Marienbrücke’ is also always brilliant, as from there you get to see the castle from the mountain side and look over the valley and the lake.

Our brewery is in sight of the castle, using the crystal clear alpine water that comes from the mountains surrounding it, to brew what gourmet experts already call ‘The best beer in the world’!
